Going back in Time: Port Huron Retro Photoshoot
Last Summer, Sharlene and I wanted to do something together that shared our own ambitions. Sharlene enjoyed dressing up in the Rockabilly style and I of course enjoy photography. This lead us to put together a retro photo shoot.
Throughout the planning, we focused on an electic 50s diner in Port Huron called Powers Diner as the location for the shoot. But it over time expanded to other locations throughout Port Huron. From Pine Grove Park, we worked our way up the riverwalk to the Blue Water Bridge. We did a variety of settings from a cozy picnic to a beautiful ride on a beach cruiser bicycle.
The photo shoot was a wonderful experience. I got to work with my lovely girl and we couldn't have thanked Powers Diner enough for sharing their space with us for the time being!

A Week in Photos: 9-1-15 to 9-7-15
This week was a chalk full week of opportunities! I started the week not only with my first full time job as an Engineer, but also a short session with a HS student at Wolcott Mill Metropark!
Later in the week, the festival were in full force for Labor Day Weekend. Saturday I attended the Bajabrawl at Baja Acres, one of the more popular motocross tracks in Michigan. Riders from all over the country were attending to race. There were also other attractions such as gangs of guys on minibikes pulling wheelies and a HUGE slip n' slide. Sunday came with the Romeo Peachfest, the parade was filled with vintage cars and plenty of candy thrown at the kids.
HS senior portraits with Malyn
Due to great demand, I've made a push to promote Short Sessions. For a half hour, we go out and get in as many shots as possible. I try to shoot for 10 different shots, but depending on the location, It can be more! This session was with Malyn, we decided to choose the beautiful local park, Wolcott Mill Metropark.
