Tour De Troit - The Sequel

READY. SET. RIDE!

Today was my second embarking on the high anticipated Tour De Troit. Having experienced this before, I came well equipped with extra tubes, tools, food, and of course my Canon 70d. If you ever want to experience Detroit other than a quick drive by on I-94. I highly suggest taking the city by bike. For those naysayers, the city is very bike friendly. This event which tops at 7,000 bicycles does well in the city. On top of that there is great bicycle scene in the city with the Slow Roll group now pushing a couple thousand on their weekly rides. This ride took us EVERYWHERE in the city. From the famous abandoned train station to the Packard Plant to Belle Isle and more. Including lesser known hot spots such as Indian Village, Lincoln Art Park and Mexicantown. So if you haven't considered, I say get on your bike and head to Detroit. Take a chance to see the city in details rather than in a blur.
